| Wai
Wai in the "Olelo" Hawaiian language means "The Waters
of Prosperity"
See how the red ti seems translucent under a beaming morning sun! All
peoples through out history have gravitated to water as a living source.
In the distance you will see the village that was sustained by the stream
that brought fish and water to cook and cleanse after a day of planting
their lo'i. The streams where diverted to nurture the kalo fields that
would yield their substances, poi, and the greens that where cooked
into their meals.
I"I hope this painting brings you the peace of this precious time
when all was "pono" held in a perfect balance.
