This is a painting of Waikiki in another time, when all that existed was the village and the surf. Tall whispering palms with thatched hales line the shore. The fisherman seated in their wa'a, canoe wait for the first catch of the day.

This piece was done for the as a commission for the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki.
